Agfa HealthCare seeks a Field Service Engineer to support Agfa DR/imaging products remotely from Boston, MA. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance while coordinating with project teams to ensure uptime and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in field service for imaging systems, plus networking, OS, PACS/RIS/EMR experience and customer-focused communication in a global environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years direct field work in technical customer support with imaging systems.
• 2–3 years expert level x-ray technology experience preferred.
• Experience with PACS, RIS and EMR desired.
• Strong networking and OS knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Office and internet-based knowledge management.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site service for Agfa DR/imaging products across assigned territory.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on imaging systems.
• Coordinate installations with project management and installation teams.
• Provide feedback on performance, reliability, and design issues to product teams.
• Escalate issues per DR/IMAGING processes and keep stakeholders informed.
