Agfa-Gevaert is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the United States to install, service, and maintain advanced imaging systems for hospitals and clinics. You will perform on-site and remote hardware and software maintenance, ensure uptime, and support Agfa services and upgrades in your assigned territory.

The role requires 60–75% travel across the US and Canada, strong customer service skills, and the ability to coordinate with hospital IT teams, radiology staff, and vendors to resolve issues

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent healthcare imaging experience.
• 5+ years in technical customer support for mission-critical imaging systems.
• Experience with DR imaging and electromechanical systems.
• Expert knowledge of digital medical image processing.
• Knowledge of Agfa software or PACS is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel 60–75% within US/Canada.

Responsabilidades

• Install, remedial and preventive maintenance of Agfa and other OEM imaging products.
• Review equipment operation with customers during installations.
• Provide hardware/software troubleshooting to ensure uptime and satisfaction.
• Interface with hospital IT and support teams to resolve issues.
• Escalate and document issues, and keep customers updated.
• Support installation team with customer system migrations and upgrades.
