Job summary

Agfa-Gevaert is seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage on-site maintenance and support for Agfa DR/imaging products at hospitals and healthcare facilities, including image systems and software. The role focuses on uptime, reliability, and customer satisfaction in a Boston-area territory.

You will collaborate with project management, installation teams, and sales to ensure successful deployments and ongoing service excellence, traveling overnight within the US and Canada as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology field is a plus.
• MCSE, Network+ certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years field work in a technical customer support role with x-ray systems and DR imaging.

Responsibilities

• Manage all AGFA imaging equipment in assigned territory with on-site troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Assist peer Field Service Engineers out of territory when needed.
• Provide feedback on technology performance and service quality to the US DR product team.
• Plan, execute and validate installations within assigned territory with Project Management.
• Identify DR prospects and support during pre/post sales activities with the customer.
• Ensure DR/imaging uptime and efficiency of all Agfa systems.
