Job summary

AGFA Radiology is seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage on-site support for AGFA DR/imaging products across assigned territory, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and installations. You will collaborate with Project Management, Installation Teams, and Sales to ensure customer satisfaction and successful deployments.

The role requires 5+ years in technical customer support with x-ray systems, strong IT/networking skills, and travelability within the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technology field.
• 5+ years of direct field work experience in a technical customer support role with x-ray systems.
• 2-3 years in an expert or specialist role with x-ray technology.
• Experience with hospital IT interfaces (PACS/RIS/EMR) and networking.

Responsibilities

• Manage all AGFA imaging equipment in assigned territory, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Assist other Field Service Engineers out of territory when needed.
• Provide feedback on technology performance to product teams.
• Plan and execute installations with project management and installation teams.
• Support sales during pre- and post-sales activities and develop customer relationships.
• Install, remediate and maintain DR imaging and x-ray room systems.
• Escalate DR/IMAGING issues and communicate status to customers and management.
• Travel overnight within US and Canada as required.
