Job summary

Agfa Radiology Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the United States. You will be responsible for on-site support and maintenance of Agfa DR imaging products across assigned hospitals and clinics.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance, install software and hardware, collaborate with project management and sales, and ensure maximum uptime. Travel within the US and Canada as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology field preferred.
• 5+ years of field work in a technical customer support role with x-ray systems.
• 2–3 years in an expert or specialist role with x-ray technology is highly desirable.
• Experience with PACS, RIS and EMR is preferred.
• Experience with electronic and electromechanical systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all AGFA imaging equipment in assigned territory, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Installation Team to plan and validate installations.
• Provide technical support during pre- and post-sales activities to identify opportunities for service contracts and upgrades.
• Resolve hardware and software issues to ensure maximum uptime and satisfaction.
• Escalate issues following defined DR/IMAGING processes and keep stakeholders informed.
