Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a remote field-based role with daily travel within the MI territory. The position requires providing remote and on-site technical support for BD Pyxis dispensing systems in hospitals and health facilities, with company vehicle provided.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma plus 3 years of field service experience and 3+ years in hardware/software/IT support, including 24x7 on-call customer-facing work. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

3 years of hardware/software/IT experience supporting proprietary and standard applications.
24x7 on-call experience in a customer-facing/field service environment.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and on-site technical support for BD Pyxis systems within hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Diagnose, service, and resolve issues for hardware and software components; log and track work orders.
Perform preventive maintenance and support Sales and Implementation teams as needed.
Demonstrate troubleshooting of hardware and software problems.
Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of field activity and expenses.
Pursue ongoing training to advance product knowledge and skills.
