Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a home-based, part-time role with daily travel to customer sites in the Vermont region. The role requires a valid driver's license, 5% overnight travel, and residence within 30 miles of the base location.

You will provide remote and on-site support for Pyxis systems in hospitals and healthcare facilities within the territory. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, logging work orders, preventive maintenance, and supporting Sales/Implementation

Qualifications

• 3 years of related hardware/software/IT experience supporting proprietary and standard applications.
• 24x7 on-call experience in a customer-facing/field service environment, required.
• Computer electronics, Windows OS, network experience, required.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for BD Pyxis systems within hospitals and healthcare facilities.
• Diagnose, service, and resolve issues; log and track all work order activity; support region products.
• Implement preventive maintenance and assist Sales/Implementation teams as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency to solve hardware and software problems.
• Provide field services including installations, servicing, maintenance, calibration and sales support.
