Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site and remote support for Pyxis systems across hospitals in Michigan. The role involves daily travel within the territory, including some overnight travel, with a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

High School diploma plus 3 years of related field service experience.
Associate Degree in Healthcare Technology or related field preferred.
3+ years hardware/software/IT experience in a field service role.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, and resolve issues regarding proprietary hardware and software system components; log, track, and document all work order activity.
Execute a preventive maintenance program and provide cross-functional support as needed to Sales and Implementation teams.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems with a methodical approach.
Provide field services including installations, in-servicing, repair, calibration, and customer support.
Maintain proper inventory and document field activity, expenses, and time distribution.
