Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site installation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex instruments for customers in Georgia. The role includes training customers on operation and maintenance and serving as a liaison on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.

Responsibilities cover installation, warranty services, field upgrades, data integrity, and equipment management while enabling profitable service delivery and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Travelling to customer sites with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to install, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, validate and repair PerkinElmer instrumentation at customer site.
• Provide troubleshooting, repair, and qualification services within prescribed time frames.
• Communicate service offerings including training, support, software and field upgrades.
• Partner with customers to understand their analytical workflow and applications.
• Adhere to installation, warranty, and service documentation standards.
• Contribute to account profitability through efficient service delivery.
• Upload/download required service data to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and inventory of service parts.
• Proactively develop technical and soft skills and pursue certifications.
