Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Field Remote) to support customers across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. You will perform installations, maintenance, validations, and repairs, ensuring service quality and safety.

You will interact with customers to understand analytical workflows, provide training, and pursue opportunities for consumables and billable services. Travel up to 50% and telecom equipment handling are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science/engineering discipline with relevant repair experience.
• Experience repairing laboratory equipment and working with analytical instruments.
• Ability to read and follow technical bulletins and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, maintenance, validations, and repairs following PerkinElmer standards.
• Engage with customers to understand workflows and tailor service offerings including training and upgrades.
• Identify revenue opportunities from billable work, consumables and service leads.
• Maintain tools, service parts inventory and equipment in good condition.
• Complete administrative tasks and training and maintain health, safety and environment standards.
