Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Field Service Engineer III to install, maintain, and repair laboratory automation equipment and dynamic scheduler software. You will work with robotic movers and microplate handling systems, delivering expert technical support to research institutions, universities, and industry partners.

The role is remote within Maryland with up to 75% travel across VA, NJ, and PA. Candidates should have 7+ years with appropriate degrees, strong diagnostics across

Formación

• 7+ years with an Associate’s, 5+ years with a Bachelor’s, or 3+ with an advanced degree
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating sophisticated mechanics
• Strong ability to read schematics and engineering drawings
• Excellent English communication; able to train users and collaborate with customers

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert installation, maintenance, and repair for lab automation equipment (robotic movers & microplate handling)
• Deliver outstanding technical support and train users to ensure optimal system performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues
• Travel up to 75% within the designated territory and support customers across institutions
