Thermo Fisher Scientific in Texas (Remote) is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to deliver installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced analytical instruments at customer sites. You will work across research, industrial, and healthcare environments, ensuring high availability and customer satisfaction.

You will diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and train customers on proper operation.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent technical experience required.
• 2+ years of hands-on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing complex instrumentation.
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation at customer sites.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, and system-level issues and determine corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, calibrations, and other service activities.
• Support advanced sequencing instrumentation and associated technologies.
• Respond to customer needs, including short-notice support.
• Provide technical guidance and training to customers on operation and best practices.
• Document service activities and prepare detailed service reports.
• Maintain service records using applicable service management systems.
