Job summary

Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all Intuitive products across the assigned territory, ensuring service agreements and warranty obligations are met and customer expectations are exceeded.

You will perform preventive maintenance, software updates, deliveries, installations, and training, traveling up to 60% and adhering to HIPAA-friendly standards, while delivering strong customer service and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Field Service Experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent training/experience preferred.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting electro‑mechanical systems preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• General computer skills
• Strong administrative and record keeping skills
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 1,200 lbs

Responsibilities

• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair Intuitive products in assigned territory.
• Perform preventive maintenance, software updates, field actions, and upgrades.
• Coordinate system and hardware delivery and installation.
• Maintain all required assets and tools.
• Travel ~60% within company policy.
• Provide feedback to HQ and participate in improvements.
• Complete trainings and administrative duties in timeframes.
• Support Sales and Genesis teams as required.
