Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to join our remote/hybrid team. You will install, support, troubleshoot, and maintain Intuitive products in your designated area, ensuring warranty obligations are met and customer expectations are exceeded.

You’ll travel up to 50% of the time, document activities, train customers, and coordinate installations. A Associate’s degree or equivalent and strong teamwork are required, with a focus on HIPAA and OR protocol compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with customers and stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for technical issues.
• Excellent time management to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Travel up to 50% and work within policy when needed.
• Willingness to perform ad hoc tasks and flex shifts as required.
• Live within ~30 miles of the territory and maintain a clean driving record.
• Understand Intuitive standards for HIPAA and OR protocol.

Responsibilities

• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products in territory.
• Ensure service agreements and warranties are met and exceeded.
• Document service activities, prepare reports, and manage administration on time.
• Provide tech support to end-users and internal teams; conduct training sessions.
• Coordinate system/hardware delivery and installation; maintain assets and tools.
• Collaborate with Sales and Genesis teams; participate in continuous improvement.
