Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a hands-on technician to support onsite maintenance and repair of robotic and electro-mechanical systems. You will diagnose, repair, and test complex assemblies, using diagnostic tools and SAP for documentation.

Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential as you follow procedures and contribute to quality improvements. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work varied shifts, and communicate effectively with engineers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma and AA or equivalent; 1-2 years related experience or training.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; interpret complex instructions and memos.
• Ability to perform basic math and to apply logical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair and testing on complex analog/digital electronic components and assemblies.
• Analyzes wiring diagrams and drawings to guide repair of FRUs.
• Repairs electro-mechanical assemblies per work instructions and tests them.
• Aids with failure analysis and final test; documents findings clearly.
• Participates in investigational teams for FRUs when required.
• Communicates repair status with leads and other departments as needed.
• Provides symptom descriptions to assist troubleshooting at component level.
• Conducts quality inspections to ensure workmanship standards.
• Follows GDP guidelines for documentation and initiates material requests.
• Reports quality issues and creates quality notifications; logs transactions in SAP.
• Follows SOPs, maintains clean workstation, and adheres to safety rules.
