Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, diagnose, repair, and calibrate advanced microscopy and analytical equipment across assigned territories. You will travel to customer sites, perform maintenance, and train users on system operation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read schematics. Prolonged travel and lifting up to 50 lbs are expected aspects of the job.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in electronic systems, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating analysis tools such as SEM/TEM/FIB.
• Detailed understanding and experience diagnosing and repairing ultra-high vacuum and high voltage systems.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct on-site installation of sophisticated equipment and verify proper operation.
• Perform on-site planned maintenance visits and diagnostic work.
• Provide repair support for customers and field personnel.
• Travel to customer sites as needed, often with short notice.
• Prepare and submit field service reports and update documentation.
