Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Field Service Engineer II for the Greenville, NC region. This remote, field-based role supports installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting diagnostic instruments while ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction. 25% travel within territory and a valid driver’s license are required.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, prioritize service visits, and work to meet service sales and KPI targets while ensuring instrument uptime and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of engineering or laboratory technology experience.
• Ability to travel 25% within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair diagnostic instruments in customer sites.
• Diagnose complex instrument issues and document resolutions.
• Manage territory, plan service visits and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Escalate and communicate effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
