Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and service electrical equipment at customer sites.

You will work hands-on with advanced devices, resolve technical issues, and support start-up activities while collaborating with a team of skilled engineers. This role targets early-career engineers, offering training, mentorship, and a path to growth within a global technology leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Entry-level experience or internship in field service or related technical environment.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, commissioning, testing, and start-up of electrical products at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to equipment performance.
• Provide technical guidance and product support during field service activities.
• Research and evaluate equipment enhancements and upgrades addressing customer needs.
• Develop positive customer relationships to support satisfaction and future opportunities.
• Assist in troubleshooting during commissioning and service projects.
• Deliver customer training on equipment features and best practices.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and technical records.
