Job summary

Hitachi Energy is hiring a Field Service Engineer to perform complex field service operations with strong technical skills. The role covers on-site and remote installation, maintenance and repairs, and requires leadership of field service projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical field service on power equipment, with hands-on HV experience and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint. Travel nationwide across the US is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
• Trade education and experience in Industrial Mechanic and Electrical trades.
• College or university diploma/degree in a technical field is an asset.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical field service work with power/mechanical equipment.
• Hands-on experience with substation construction, high voltage equipment, and electrical testing.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and test equipment software.
• Current US driver's license and ability to travel in the US.

• Lead field service projects and provide direction and analysis.
