Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a High Voltage Field Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of high voltage equipment up to 800kV at customer sites. You will work with experienced pros, document results, and contribute to commissioning and maintenance projects while traveling up to 80%.

The role requires technical education or a degree in electrical/mechanical fields, plus 1–3 years in field service or similar environments, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and test equipment software.
• 1 to 3 years of technical field service or related environment experience.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities including installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair of high voltage equipment.
• Support commissioning, maintenance, upgrade and retrofit projects at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues and assist with corrective actions.
• Document results and tests using established procedures.
• Coordinate work with internal teams and customer representatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
