Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a remote-based role servicing the Boston, MA area. You will ensure reliable operation of Sartorius equipment through on-site and remote activities, following defined procedures to support customer satisfaction and stable system performance.

The role involves installations, calibrations, preventive maintenance, diagnostic support, and rigorous documentation to ensure transparency and traceability.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years in field service, maintenance, or technical support.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, or software issues using defined procedures.
• Understanding of equipment functionality and service processes.
• Clear communication and customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work with structured service processes and documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Ability to lift up to 9 kg frequently and up to 22 kg occasionally.

Aufgaben

• Perform installations, calibrations and preventive maintenance on Sartorius equipment following procedures and documentation.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to diagnose issues and restore operation.
• Resolve issues within guidelines and escalation frameworks to minimize downtime.
• Escalate complex issues with documented symptoms and actions to ensure resolution.
• Maintain accurate service records in service systems for transparency.
• Adhere to service processes, safety requirements and documentation standards.
