Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the New England area to service Bioprocess equipment remotely from the Greater Boston region. The role involves installation, startup, calibration, maintenance and repairs, with travel up to 70% within MA and surrounding Northeast states, and occasional Canada travel.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic discipline (or related), 3+ years of field service experience, ISO 9001:2008 and GMP/GDP knowledge, and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic discipline or equivalent.
• 3+ years Field Service experience, preferably in Biopharmaceutical.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, GMP/GDP.
• Valid Driver's License and Passport.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain fault finding data and communicate product performance to customers and internal teams.
• Complete in-house service activities in the Delaware office as needed.
• Follow service procedures to keep customer data and configurations up to date.
• Keep accurate time, expense and work records.
• Collaborate with Product Support and Hardware Resources to resolve complex issues.
• Travel up to 70% to support Field Service activities.
