Medtronic is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery platform. This remote, customer-facing role requires residence in the United States and up to 75% travel within a defined territory to hospitals and clinics.

You will install, maintain, repair, and optimize advanced medical technologies, provide hands-on training to clinical staff, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable patient care and continuous product improvements.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of field service or medical device service experience.
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex equipment or integrated systems.
• Experience supporting customers in a field-based technical service environment.
• Ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.
• English communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Install, commission, and upgrade medical equipment and integrated systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, software, and system-level issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system performance evaluations.
• Execute equipment repairs, modifications, and engineering change implementations.
• Provide technical guidance and operational training to clinical and customer support teams.
• Document service activities, technical findings, and corrective actions accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to resolve complex customer challenges.
• Build trusted relationships with customers through responsive and professional service.
