Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an Area Sales Manager – Surgical Robotics to drive adoption of the Hugo™ RAS System across hospitals. This field-based role requires frequent travel, strategic account development, and the ability to build coalitions with hospital executives.

You will lead workshops, craft business cases, and negotiate contracts to advance surgical robotics opportunities while collaborating with internal teams to deliver compelling clinical and economic value.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 10+ years experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 8+ years experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 6+ years experience in sales in a medical/operating room environment.
• 3 years of dedicated capital complex selling required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells Medtronic Medical/Scientific Equipment to meet sales targets.
• Develops long-term relationships with hospitals and surgical staff.
• Pursues leads, assesses needs, and provides product services to maximize benefits.
• Develops and implements market development plans/strategies.
• Assesses customer needs and feedback to R&D, Operations and Marketing.
