Job summary

Medtronic plc is recruiting an Area Sales Manager for Surgical Robotics to lead direct sales of the Hugo RAS System and related services across the territory. You will build coalitions with hospital executives, craft compelling business cases, and drive adoption through engaging presentations and contracts.

The role requires strong knowledge of minimally invasive and robotic surgery, a broad hospital network, and willingness to travel heavily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 10+ years experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 8+ years experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 6+ years experience in sales in a medical and/or operating room environment.
• 3 years of dedicated capital complex selling required.
• Must be able to travel region assigned (50% plus).

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells Medtronic's Medical/Scientific Equipment products and services within an assigned geographic area to meet sales targets.
• Develops and strengthens long-term relationships with hospitals, physicians, Radiology and Surgical staff.
• Pursues leads, assesses needs and provides product services to maximize benefits.
• Develops market development plans and strategies; analyzes customer needs and competitive activities.
