Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Hugo robotic-assisted surgery platforms. This remote, customer-facing role requires extensive field service across multiple US locations, including Phoenix.

You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize advanced medical technologies, traveling up to 75% to customer sites. The role emphasizes collaboration with healthcare professionals, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure system reliability and exceptional

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent + 4+ years in clinical field service or related roles.
Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex equipment.
Experience supporting customers in field-based technical service.
Ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and upgrade medical equipment at customer sites.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, software, and system-level issues.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system performance evaluations.
Execute equipment repairs, modifications, and engineering changes.
Provide technical guidance and training to clinical and customer teams.
Document service activities, findings, and actions.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve challenges.
Build trusted relationships with customers through responsive service.
