Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers in the Boston, MA area with on-site and remote service activities.

You will install, calibrate, and maintain equipment; diagnose issues, provide technical support, and document actions to ensure reliable operation and uptime. A Bachelor's in Engineering and 3+ years of field service experience are required; travel and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 3+ years in field service, maintenance or technical support roles.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical or software-related issues using defined procedures.
• Good understanding of equipment functionality and service processes.
• Clear communication skills and customer-oriented mindset to explain technical topics effectively.
• Ability to travel and hold a valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Installations, calibrations and preventive maintenance on Sartorius equipment.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to diagnose issues.
• Resolve issues within guidelines and escalation frameworks to minimize downtime.
• Document symptoms, findings and actions to support resolution.
• Maintain service records for transparency and traceability.
• Adhere to service processes, safety requirements and documentation standards.
