Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer responsible for installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of laboratory equipment across Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. The position supports customers in a field setting and coordinates with technical teams to ensure peak equipment performance.

The ideal candidate has a relevant technical certification or degree and 2+ years of field service experience, with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or High School Degree/GED with technical certification.
• 2+ years field service experience including calibration of balances and moisture analyzers.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Tie workflow to schedule.
• Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Document processes.
• Operate vehicle safely and use field automation systems.
• Follow all field procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
