Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. This field-based role involves installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of laboratory equipment, with travel across the territory from Denver, CO or nearby areas.

You will diagnose issues, provide timely service reports, and build strong customer relationships while adhering to safety and operational procedures. A technical certification and flexible travel are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or HS diploma with technical certification.
• 2+ years field service experience with calibration of balances and moisture analyzers.
• Strong troubleshooting, repair, and testing skills on technical equipment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and travel within territory.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Tie workflow to schedule and manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance and testing tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Document processes and cooperate with technical team across the organization.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
