Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer in New Orleans, LA within the Service Organization. The role covers troubleshooting, installation, validation, and preventive maintenance of Beckman Coulter equipment, with up to 10% overnight travel and a remote work option.

You will report to the Field Service Supervisor, service chemistry, immunoassay, and automation instruments, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (preferred technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) with 3 years of experience.
• 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, validate, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment; provide training on products.
• Maintain accurate service logs, order repair parts, and use systems like OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for planning and team goals.
• Communicate with internal/external customers and assist in training newer Field Service Engineers.
