Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a Field Service Engineer to ensure optimal performance of Chemistry and Immunoassay instruments and lab automation. You will service Beckman Coulter systems, perform installations, validation, maintenance and repairs across customer sites, while collaborating with the Service Manager.

Requirements include an Associate degree (technical or equivalent) or high school diploma and 1 year of diagnostic/repair experience; travel up to 10% with a valid license; remote

Qualifications

• Associate degree (technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or equivalent military experience or High School diploma.
• 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
• Travel up to 10% overnight within assigned territory; valid driver's license required.
• 2+ years’ experience of advanced troubleshooting (nice to have).
• Developing relationships with internal and external customers to foster satisfaction and retention (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, validate, perform preventive maintenance, modifications and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment.
• Maintain accurate service logs, order parts, and adhere to cycle times; use systems like OBI, Salesforce, SharePoint.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and train newer Field Service Engineers.
