Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, seeks a Field Service Engineer to independently troubleshoot, install, perform preventive maintenance, and service Beckman Coulter equipment, delivering efficient and reliable service to customers while training peers.

This role offers a remote-friendly arrangement from the Northern Los Angeles area, occasional travel, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb, with a competitive hourly pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1 year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation ideal.
• Military experience considered on a case-by-case basis for suitable roles.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, and perform preventative maintenance on Beckman Coulter equipment.
• Provide service repair and technical training to customers and internal staff.
• Maintain accurate service logs, order parts, and use systems like OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for planning and execution.
