Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to ensure optimal performance of chemistry and immunoassay instruments and laboratory automation. This role is remote-friendly, with travel within the US.

You will troubleshoot, install, validate, and perform preventive maintenance; maintain service logs; train newer engineers; and communicate with customers and internal teams to drive reliable results.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military experience or diploma.
• 1 year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to travel 10% overnight within territory.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, validate, perform preventative maintenance and service repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment, including training customers.
• Maintain accurate service logs, order parts, and use systems for Service Call Planning and advancing team goals.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and assist training of newer Field Service Engineers.
