Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to ensure optimal performance of hematology and urinalysis instruments. The role is fully remote with servicing in Fort Wayne, IN, reporting to the Service Manager and supporting the Service Organization.

You will troubleshoot, install, validate, and perform preventative maintenance while maintaining service records and coordinating parts. Travel up to 10% overnight is required; a valid driver’s license is necessary.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a technical field or related coursework.
• 1+ year of diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic equipment, or instrumentation.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% overnight within the territory and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, validate, perform preventative maintenance, modify, and service Beckman Coulter equipment including providing training to customers.
• Maintain accurate service logs, order parts, and use systems for planning and reporting.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and assist in training newer Field Service Engineers.
