Job summary

bioMerieux Field Systems Engineer (FSE) is responsible for attending to service needs of customers within the assigned geographic territory and nationally, using appropriate tools and test equipment to ensure instruments meet specifications.

This role is a self-starter, works remotely without direct supervision, and is able to conduct overnight travel on short notice, while collaborating with sales and applications teams to enhance customer experience and drive service growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of electro‑mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Education substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Promote service agreements and identify sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with service and support teams to drive field service revenue.
