Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This remote role is home-based with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays. A company vehicle is provided for site visits and maintenance tasks.

You will perform emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance on UPS systems and power distribution equipment, ensuring peak uptime and reliability for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience including relevant coursework and internship experience.
• This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.
• Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements as needed, which may include, but is not limited to, periodic background checks and drug screenings.
• Daily travel to customer sites is required, utilizing an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
• Provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter.
• Must perform physical tasks as needed, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support, including emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance.
• Travel daily to customer sites in the Dallas/Ft. Worth region using a company vehicle.
