Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team in the greater Milwaukee, WI area. This remote-from-home position involves daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays, with a company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities include on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and uptime for UPS systems, batteries, and power distribution solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance.
• Travel daily to customer sites from a home office with a company vehicle provided.
• Support 24-hour Customer, Technical and Factory Support as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA and NFPA 70E safety standards during fieldwork.
• Participate in safety audits and ongoing compliance programs.
