Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant (VDC) to build strong relationships with Veterinary customers and sell IDEXX diagnostic solutions.

You will work across knowledge areas, translating customer needs into IDEXX diagnostics and services, driving recurring revenue and practice growth. You will educate clinics, collaborate with regional IDEXX colleagues, and represent IDEXX values while attending regional events and trade shows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of proven outside sales experience managing your own territory.
• Territory management experience in veterinary/animal health or medical device markets is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays; valid driver's license; ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Comfortable working in veterinary clinic and hospital environments; Central Washington territory residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory to increase recurring diagnostic revenue and quarterly equipment sales.
• Collaborate with other IDEXX sales professionals to close capital equipment and technology.
• Educate veterinary clinic staff about products and initiatives; maintain product knowledge.
• Communicate customer needs and competitive issues to marketing and business unit manager; assist lab operations.
• Present IDEXX values professionally; attend trade shows and regional events.
• Attend and participate in trade shows and educational events in the region.
• Manage expenses and resources per company guidelines; adhere to IDEXX guiding principles.
• Other duties as assigned.
