Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Professional Services Veterinarian to consult with Practice Owner Veterinarians on medical protocols and to promote IDEXX products, services, and testing.

The role involves on-site training and collaboration with the Sales force to support growth and customer satisfaction. You will host seminars, develop technical materials, review marketing and field materials, and provide training.

Qualifications

• DVM degree or equivalent is required.
• Advanced degree or board certification preferred.
• Typically 5–8 years of experience in the veterinary industry.
• Licensed to practice in at least one state is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of current topics in clinical veterinary medicine.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of IDEXX products and services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Practice Owner Veterinarians on medical protocols to promote growth and IDEXX product utilization.
• Represent IDEXX to customers and academia, hosting seminars and CE sessions.
• Partner with Sales to provide medical support, training, and market trials.
• Create and review technical materials and present medical topics to diverse audiences.
• Support IDEXX Training Department with written materials and trainings.
• Ensure compliance with IDEXX SOPs and maintain client records.
• Handle veterinary and end-user questions with technical medical advice.
• Adhere to IDEXX guiding principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
