Job summary

dormakaba Americas in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is seeking a remote-based Sales Representative. This field role requires residence within the territory and involves consultative selling to drive demand for dormakaba products across targeted vertical markets.

You will collaborate with teams to meet annual targets, expand existing accounts, and develop new prospects, with 50% travel within the territory and incentives that complement the base salary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of sales experience required.
• Travel 50%+ within the territory.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing or similar.
• Familiarity with CRM software, specifically Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to achieve annual sales targets across product lines.
• Create demand for assigned territories.
• Manage and grow market share – 75% of time with existing customers focusing on expanding product mix / 25% of time focusing on new qualified prospects.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with outside sales teams of distributors, wholesale channel partners, and system integrators.
• Influence owners’ standards manuals to increase business and product approvals; propose samples to influence decisions.
