Job summary

North is building the easiest payments platform for local businesses, empowering restaurants and retailers with a SaaS and payments suite. As a Sales Professional in our North Direct Field Sales team, you’ll bring our platform to life with local businesses, working from home with a flexible schedule.

You’ll develop relationships, demos, and partnerships, use Salesforce to manage activities, and pursue top commissions with weekly payouts, residuals, and equity.

Qualifications

• Charisma and strong communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup vibe.
• A self-starter who can pivot on a dime and still shine.
• Cold-calling and local canvassing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of restaurants is a plus.
• Sales experience preferred, especially the thrill of the close.

Responsibilities

• Put together your playlist of local businesses and guide them through the entire sales cycle—from first call to final close.
• Forge partnerships with local POS dealers, web designers, and networking groups to build referrals.
• Perform demos that wow prospects and showcase the North SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with North teammates to ensure promises turn into results.
• Use Salesforce to track all sales activities and opportunities.
• Learn the competition and position North as the best choice for merchants.
