Job summary

Quincy Compressor is seeking a Field Sales Engineer, Service to develop and strengthen customer relationships across a defined territory in Alabama. You will listen to client needs, create value, and pursue leads and opportunities to drive service revenue and retention.

You will prepare quotes, manage orders, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. Requirements include 2 years in service sales, knowledge of compressed air systems, a bachelor's degree, and proficiency

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in the service business with prospecting and a systematic sales process.
• Experience with compressed air systems or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering, or related technical field.
• Customer-oriented, able to understand and prioritize customer needs.
• Willing to take risks and manage varied workloads.
• Proficient with computers, CRMs, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Attend incoming customer requests and convert into cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Follow up, qualify and respond to leads from different sources.
• Collaborate with other areas and sales teams to develop opportunities and strategies to retain or recover customers.
• Conduct prospecting with defined target accounts and set up future meetings.
• Prepare quotes for Fixed Price Services, Service Plans, and other services.
• Process orders, maintain post-sales documentation and approvals.
• Maintain customer records in systems and provide feedback to sales/marketing.
• Participate in regular reviews with the sales manager team.
