Job summary

Quincy Compressor is hiring a Field Service Technician to expand our field service presence and deliver safe, high‑quality service to customers. You will be close to clients, repair compressors, dryers, and related components, and report to the Service Manager.

You will participate in on-site, hybrid, or remote arrangements with a Covington, GA territory in mind, travel as needed, and train peers while upholding safety standards and customer care.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• 3 years of experience as a technician.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
• Customer-focused and takes ownership of meeting the customer's needs.
• Able to supply all basic required tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
• Pressure wash and clean the customer’s equipment pad and surrounding areas.
• Communicate with customer and Service Manager about services and repair options.
• Complete all work orders, startup forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips.
• Train and assist other Service Technicians.
• Promote and practice safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool.
