Job summary

Quincy Compressor is seeking a Field Sales Representative, Equipment in Charlotte, NC, to drive growth by applying technical expertise and customer insight. The role focuses on developing a strategic sales territory, new accounts, and effective call planning across the compressed air product line.

You will guide customers through design of air systems, manage quotes, provide training, and support the local sub-distribution network while achieving business plan goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor's degree in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization is desirable.
• Customer-focused and able to understand and prioritize customer needs.
• Willing to take risks while analyzing potential pitfalls.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage varied workloads.
• Assertive, organized and flexible in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in designing compressed air solutions for their needs and stay current on Quincy product offerings.
• Prospect new and drifted accounts to generate revenue and manage quotes.
• Audit compressed air systems, present results and assist with rebates for energy savings.
• Support and grow local sub-distribution networks.
• Provide training to customers and troubleshoot current systems.
• Achieve sales goals in Quincy Compressor categories including rotaries, compressors, accessories and aftermarket services.
• Collaborate with other teams to develop opportunities and strategies, and maintain CRM activity.
