Job summary

Quincy Compressor LLC,a brand within Atlas Copco Group, seeks a Sales Engineer to drive sales growth by applying technical expertise and customer insight. You will manage a strategic territory, pursue new accounts, and coordinate quotes and orders while collaborating with engineering and product teams.

You will engage in design reviews, provide training to customers, and stay current on Quincy products. This role requires field travel in the NW Chicago area and a drive to exceed business plans

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, marketing, engineering or related technical field is desirable.
• Customer-focused with ability to understand and prioritise customer needs.
• Willing to take calculated risks while analysing potential pitfalls.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to cope with varied workloads.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in designing compressed air solutions for their needs.
• Prospect new and drifted accounts to generate revenue and manage quotes.
• Audit compressed air systems and coordinate rebates for energy savings.
• Support and grow local sub-distribution network and provide customer training.
• Achieve sales goals across rotary, piston compressors, accessories and services.
