Job summary

Braemac/XTG is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to drive electronic component sales across a Minnesota territory. You will create opportunities, defend and penetrate accounts, and grow GP dollars by expanding the customer base.

The role requires an Engineering degree (AE/EE/MSEE) with at least five years of sales experience in a related industry, plus strong technical knowledge and collaboration with Inside Sales and Marketing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (AE/EE/MSEE) with five years’ sales experience in similar industry.
• Knowledge of technical engineering sales.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create new opportunities, registrations and design wins for the defined territory by generating leads and calling on customers.
• Defend and penetrate sales, and grow gross profit by expanding the customer base.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and Marketing to devise strategy for DTAM accounts in territory.
• Attend product trainings and share product knowledge with customers.
• Pursue new business leads via reps, trade shows, networking, manufacturers and internal resources.
• Manage the full sales cycle for key customers, ensuring timely and complete follow-ups.
• Respond to technical questions, resolve customer issues promptly, and provide high level of service.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform decisions and add value.
