Job summary

Braemac is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to drive sales of electronic components across an assigned US territory. This remote role targets growth in GP dollars while building strong customer relationships and winning product orders.

You will create opportunities, collaborate with Inside Sales and Marketing, and attend supplier trainings to stay current on product knowledge and industry trends. Travel within the territory may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (AE/EE/MSEE) with minimum five years' sales experience.
• Previous knowledge or work experience in the Rep industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create new opportunities, registrations and design wins for the defined territory by generating/pursuing business leads and calling on customers, resulting in established relationships and winning product orders to achieve sales objectives.
• Work with local and regional suppliers to position Braemac as the primary distributor of choice and attend supplier trainings to share product knowledge.
• Partner with Inside Sales and Marketing to devise strategies for penetrating DTAM accounts within the territory.
• Attend product trainings to create credibility with customers and understand their needs for future roadmaps.
• Pursue new business leads via reps, trade shows, networking, manufacturers, internet and internal resources to expand the customer base.
