Job summary

Braemac Pty is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to drive sales of electronic components within an assigned territory. The role focuses on creating opportunities, defending and expanding sales, and growing gross profit dollars while collaborating with Inside Sales and Marketing.

The ideal candidate should have an engineering degree and five years of sales experience in a related industry. The position offers remote work with preference for Minnesota residents in the United States.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of technical engineering sales.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create new opportunities, registrations and design wins for the defined territory by generating/pursuing business leads and calling on customers, resulting in established relationships and winning product orders.
• Work with local and regional suppliers to position Braemac as the distributor of choice and attend supplier trainings to share knowledge with customers.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and Marketing to penetrate DTAM accounts within the territory.
• Attend/conduct product trainings to understand customer needs and become part of their roadmap.
• Pursue new business leads via reps, trade shows, networking, manufacturers, internet, and internal resources to expand the customer base.
• Manage the full sales cycle for key customers ensuring timely quotes and satisfaction.
• Respond to key customer technical questions and issues to provide high-level service.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to stay informed and add value.
