Job summary

Braemac/XTG, an electronic component distributor in the TTI Family of Specialists, seeks a Field Sales Engineer for a remote Minnesota-based role. You will create opportunities, defend and penetrate sales, and grow gross margin in your territory while collaborating with Inside Sales and Marketing to execute strategic initiatives.

The position requires a Engineering degree (AE/EE/MSEE) and at least five years of sales experience in a related industry, with strong analytical and organizational

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (AE/EE/MSEE) with minimum five years’ sales experience in a similar industry.
• Knowledge of technical engineering sales and ability to translate customer needs into solutions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Create new opportunities and design wins in the defined territory to meet sales objectives.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and Marketing to penetrate DTAM accounts.
• Attend supplier trainings to relay product knowledge to customers.
• Develop partnerships with local/regional suppliers to position Braemac as primary distributor.
• Resolve customer technical questions and issues promptly to deliver high levels of service.
• Maintain market awareness of competitor activities and industry trends.
