Cengage Group is seeking a Field Sales Consultant for the Minnesota region (remote) to drive adoption of digital and print educational products. You will engage in sales calls, meet targets, and develop strategic territory plans while reporting forecasts and progress.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with a background in teaching or education sales, strong communication, and the ability to lift materials as needed. Base pay includes a substantial incentive plan and a total rewards approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; minimum 2 years of teaching and education sales preferred in publishing.
• Proven track record of sales growth and meeting goals.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with customers and partners; strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with business tech, multiple applications, and CRM systems; able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers and present product solutions.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
